    Monsanto Soda Springs Plant

    Southeast Idaho has a long history of phosphate mining and processing, and the most visible evidence of that industry is Monsanto’s elemental phosphorous plant just north of Soda Springs.     Fairview Cemetery

    This old cemetery is home to several interesting graves. The Wagon Box Grave is the 1861 burial site of an Oregon Trail emigrant family of seven killed by Indians and buried together in the wagon box from their covered wagon.
