This reservoir is a great place for boating, fishing, swimming, and birdwatching. Local fiah include rainbow trout, channel catfish, blue gill, perch and small mouth bass. It has two boat access ramps with docks at Oregon Trail Park and Marina, located just off of Hwy 30 and two day use areas on the north side of the reservoir.
Birds include marine birds, marsh birds, water fowl, Sandhill Cranes, and Trumpeter Swans in winter. Visit this site any season.
