The Bear River RC & D Wilderness Youth Camp is a large group camping site available for youth groups, but anyone is welcome to use it. The camp is between Preston and Montpelier, Idaho, off State Hwy 36 in Emigration Canyon. The camp’s location, near the High Line National Recreation Trail in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, affords scenic vistas of the Bear River Range and a variety of wilderness experiences.

The Bear River Resource Conservation and Development Area is a not-for-profit organization that addresses natural resource conservation and development issues in the Bear River Basin, which includes all the regions of the Bear River Heritage Area.
