The town of Clarkston is home to an annual pageant chronicling the life of LDS Church leader Martin Harris, who helped finance the first printing of the Book of Mormon. Harris is buried in Clarkston, where he made his home during the last part of his life. According to the pageant website, “Now over 20 years old, the Martin Harris Pageant has grown from a little-known community play to an epic pageant attended annually by thousands of people.” See thier website for more information on dates, times and ticket sales. The pageant usually takes place some time in early August every other year.
