Martin James has been a bee keeper for ten years. He says that hard work, lots of studying and good friends in the bee business is how he learned the trade. His work as 4-H advisor and board member of the Utah Bee Keeping association has qualified him for job as Cache County and Box Elder County bee inspector, and going pro with his bee keeping and honey production. It’s a family business dedicated to the support of Utah’s agricultural heritage and the tradition of bee keeping in the Beehive State. Martin and his family can be seen at the Cache Valley Gardener’s Market, enthusiastically explaining the work of the bees as viewed through a transparent demonstration hive. You can buy Slide Ridge Honey at the market or other summer festivals, or contact Slideridge Honey for an appointment to fill your own jars at the production site.
