About The Bear River
The Bear River begins in Christmas Meadows in the Utah Uinta Mountains. It meanders north through southwestern Wyoming and southeast Idaho then south through northern Utah where it empties into the Great Salt Lake. It travels about 350 miles and is the longest river in North America that does not empty into the ocean. Learn more about the Bear River on Wikipedia.
